Price Information

The management of the facility is primarily the responsibility of Dr. Thomas Kieber-Emmons who insures that the Shared Resource continues to provide the latest technology, equipment, and quality service. Dr. Stewart Macleod, the Facility's Manager and Operator, maintains direct responsibility for the daily operation of the Facility, including maintenance of the equipment, quality assessment, supervision of the experimental procedures and guidance in data analysis. Investigators are encouraged to contact the Facility Director, Manager/Operator, or any member of the Advisory Committee with any issues or concerns.

Discounted daily fee for projects with grant support to Cores Group: $240 BIA3000 binding, affinity and kinetic assays (flow cell)
Supplies Chips at list price.
Plus $65 per day Supplies Cost.		 Biosensor chips, tubes, buffers, etc.
Consultation/Data Analysis/
Data Preparation		 No Charge
(Must schedule in advance)		 Modeling the interaction, evaluating, kinetic constraints, calculating the affinity of interaction.  
Consultation and guidance in the analysis of data for publication/presentation or in the design of experiments

Notes;  A typical experiment will begin with two (2) hours of instrument prep followed by at least six (6) hours of standard use (for a total of 8 hours). 

Aborted experiments will be charged an hourly fee.
 
 
Sensor surfaces are provided to the user at cost. The cost of sensor surfaces will appear  in the user statement. Please submit any questions to the Core Manager (MacleodStewartL@uams.edu ). External users (those who are not on the faculty of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences) must pay time-and-a-half based on the pay schedule indicated above.
